Terms & Conditions
Effective and last updated: November 3, 2026
These terms explain the conditions and limits of using the Immicademy learning portal, its educational content and public tools.
1. General information and education
Immicademy provides educational courses and general information about Canadian immigration, study, application preparation and related topics. Lessons, examples, checklists, forms explanations, quizzes, news, charts and program-and-career suggestions are for learning. They are not legal advice or advice tailored to your circumstances.
Using this website, creating an account, taking a course, passing a quiz or contacting us through a general inquiry does not by itself create a lawyer–client, immigration consultant–client, representative, fiduciary or other professional advisory relationship. Any professional representation would require a separate, express agreement with an appropriately authorized professional.
Do not treat a course example or a general response as a decision about your own eligibility, status, application strategy or legal obligations. Obtain appropriate qualified advice when your circumstances require it.
2. Accuracy, completeness and independent verification
Information and requirements can change. Subject to rights and obligations that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, we do not guarantee that every item is accurate, complete, current, free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose. Publication dates, checked dates and update schedules indicate the context of the material; they are not a guarantee that no later change has occurred. Cached data, translations, summaries and third-party reports may omit detail or become outdated.
Before acting, independently verify the current requirements, effective dates, forms, fees, deadlines, eligibility rules and instructions with the relevant official source. For immigration matters, consult IRCC and the applicable official provincial or territorial program website. For a study program, confirm directly with the university or college. Check the complete source, not only a headline, chart or course summary.
You are responsible for the information and documents you submit, the decisions you make and the deadlines that apply to you. Reporting an error to Immicademy does not extend a deadline or replace contact with the responsible authority. Please tell us about a suspected error with the page or lesson and its source.
3. No guaranteed immigration, admission or employment outcome
Completing a course or following information on this website does not guarantee a visa, permit, permanent residence, invitation, nomination, admission, scholarship, employment or any other result. Decisions are made by the relevant authorities, institutions or employers under their own requirements.
Express Entry draws may concern different programs or categories. Historical scores and invitation numbers are not predictions of a future cutoff or of your chance of selection. Program-finder results are matches within a reviewed collection, not a ranking of university quality, an admission assessment, a job offer or a determination of work-permit eligibility. Career examples may require further education, licensing or registration.
An Immicademy completion certificate records completion of the relevant educational course and assessment requirements. It is not a professional licence, academic qualification, government credential or immigration accreditation, and does not authorize you to represent another person.
4. Accounts, assessments and access
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and use only access granted to you. Do not share credentials, impersonate another learner, falsify completion records or interfere with the website or its access controls. Contact us if you believe your account or enrollment is incorrect.
Creating an account does not automatically enroll you in a course. Access depends on your enrollment and any applicable access dates or separate agreement. Learner assessments and certificates depend on the published course requirements shown in the portal. An administrator’s test result is a preview, not a learner completion record.
Content may be corrected or updated, and an updated assessment may require a new attempt for a current completion result. Maintenance, provider outages or necessary security action may interrupt access. These terms do not permit us to disregard a paid access commitment or a remedy required by applicable law.
5. Materials, third-party links and acceptable use
You may use materials made available to you for your own learning, subject to the relevant access terms and any stated licence. Do not sell, redistribute or falsely present Immicademy materials or certificates as your own, or remove source attribution. This does not restrict uses permitted by law or the rights applicable to linked government or third-party material.
Linked government, institutional, publisher and contact services operate independently. A link does not mean that they endorse Immicademy or that Immicademy controls their content, availability or privacy practices. Read their current instructions and terms when using them.
Our Privacy Policy describes how this portal handles account and learning information. Do not enter sensitive personal information into public search fields or send sensitive documents through an initial general inquiry.
6. Payments, separate purchases and consumer protection
The current learning portal does not offer an online checkout or collect payment-card details. These website terms do not introduce a subscription, automatic renewal, fee or blanket no-refund policy. If you purchased access through another channel, consult the terms supplied for that purchase and contact Immicademy about the specific transaction.
Any applicable statutory disclosure, cancellation, refund, privacy or other consumer rights remain available. A separate agreement or this page cannot remove a protection that the law makes non-waivable.
Consumer Protection BC explains: “Certain unfair contract terms are not allowed in consumer contracts and, if included, are void.”
Official BC contract guidance, checked November 3, 2026.
7. Limits of disclaimers and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the educational content and public tools are provided without a promise of a particular result or uninterrupted, error-free availability. They should not be your sole basis for an immigration, legal, educational, employment or financial decision.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, duties, warranties or remedies where doing so is unlawful. The statements about educational purpose, independent verification and lack of guarantees do not excuse unlawful conduct or override mandatory privacy or consumer protections. These terms do not require you to waive a statutory right, a permitted review, a class proceeding or access to a court or regulator. They do not impose mandatory arbitration.
8. Changes, questions and disputes
Updates to these terms will appear with a revised date. A later revision does not automatically remove rights already acquired or retroactively change a separate purchase agreement. Where further notice or agreement is required by law, posting an update alone is not a substitute.
For a question about a course, an error, access or these terms, use the Contact page. You may raise a concern with an appropriate regulator or pursue a remedy available under applicable law.
